Everyone can use a break from being cooped up during this Holiday Season. We can think of no better way to do that than Zooming and visiting and catching up with your friends, engaging in some good natured fun, getting some exercise in a Scavenger Hunt and exercising your brain with a Trivia Challenge. And, did we mention that THERE WILL BE GIFT CARD PRIZES? Who couldn’t use that. Even if you aren’t planning on
participating in the Scavenger Hunt or the Trivia Challenge,
you are welcome to stay on with us. We guarantee that you
will enjoy watching the players.
So, come and join us next Tuesday, December 22 at 6:30 pm
for a fun (and possibly profitable) evening.
Log in details will be coming soon.

We will play a modified scramble format. That means... Initially all the people on the team throw their disc (Frisbee). The team picks the best throw and the remaining people on the team throw from that location. Once a play's throw has been used, that player does not throw again until everyone's throw on the team has been used. I am planning 3 people on a team.
The location will be at El Dorado.
October 12. Carpool leaving from Cypress Civic Center at 8:40 am (after tennis).
Please reply if you are going and answer the following questions.
Do you have a Frisbee or disc? (Note: I have some extras)
What is you skill level (see below):
Haven't thrown a Frisbee.
Have thrown a Frisbee.
Am good with Frisbee.
Have played disc golf but normally score over a 6 on a hole.
Have played disc golf and normally score under 6 on a hole.
Are good at disc golf (normally par or better)
The club will supply the prizes for the first place team.
Ready for some baseball? How about going to see the Angels battle the Chicago White Sox on Saturday August 17 at 6 pm? And fireworks!! And '70s Throwback Weekend!! Although I remember the '70s (even though I am sure I was in diapers), I am not quite sure what a "'70s Throwback Weekend" is. But, I am looking forward to finding out.
If 20 (or more) people go, we can get Club VIP seats for $50/each! These tickets are normally $100/each! We get comfortable, cushioned seating and in seat waiting service. Although there is an additional administrative charge for the tickets from the Angels, the Board of our Club has agreed to pay this fee.
